Puppet Playtime

Puppet Playtime gives children aged 3 to 5 the opportunity to engage in a new experience of storytelling and puppetry.

Each session features a popular children’s book, with an acclaimed WA performer presenting the story in their unique performance style.  This can include puppetry, musical accompaniment, object theatre, movement and dance, and more. The world of puppetry is vast, and attendees will learn about a new element of puppetry each month. Each session, children will craft a puppet designed by our talented puppetry professionals.

With the help of Telethon Kids Institute (TKI), we also include activities which promote social and emotional wellbeing for families and kids, and all Puppet Playtime activities are designed so that parents can recreate them at home.

Perfectly pitched for young minds and busy hands, Puppet Playtime is also gentle on the family budget—accompanying adults attend for free!
